Suggest Treatment For Recurring Swollen Bartholin Gland

I have had reoccurring swollen bartholin glands. Three times in the past 6 months. They have not been filled with puss or been drained or leaked anything. Just swollen with a slight stinging sensation but otherwise i can walk alright. I read that there could be underlying conditions involved and that you could get them without underlying conditions and all you need to do is soak in a tub. Could you provide any information about this? I don t know if I need to visit my doctor or simply take a sitz bath.
