Hello Doctors. I have had a recurring sore throat following cough and cold since last year but no fever. It keeps happening frequently. On and off. And just started from last year. I tried everything going from emergency doctor to Family medicine doctor to ENT doctor to blood tests and tonsil tests that all turned out negative. I wanted to remove my tonsils but my ENT doctor said that she can t because the soreness hasn t reached my tonsils yet but only in the pharynx. So my doctors diagnosed my case as pharyngitis or upper respiratory infection. I am not allergic to any food, animals, or dust or drugs. Anyway since the beginning of this year I took a flu shot to avoid and lessen the risks of getting sick again. And I also started taking multivitamins like iron, echicnea, zinc, vitamin c, vitamin e, vitamin b and vitamin d. It was going so well since 3 months till i got sick again this week. I am a healthy person physical wise I go to gym and work out. But this on and off sore throat is just like a burden I have to live with. Please help me. Any suggestions to how to deal with this or treat it?
