Suggest Treatment For Recurring Headaches

Respected sir. My mother is suffering form migrane pain and survical problem since last 5 years. she is suffering from headech in twice and thrice in a week. her age is about 50 years. we have treated her from many doctors but no improvement. please guide me.

Thanks for posting your query to Healthcaremagic.


As you said she is having Migraine , that itself can explain recurring headaches . Migraine requires two kinds of treatment .

1. One to abort the acute attack of headache .
2. To prevent or reduce frequency of further occurrence of headache .

For first reasons simple pain killers has to be taken at the very onset of headache . But for second reason daily medications has to be taken for 6 months to 1 year .

In my practice I prescribe Tab Sibelium daily for 6 months . Ask your doctor for the prescription of the same . Also let me know what treatment was given to her before .
