Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Vomiting, Nauseous, And Shakiness

My 18 year old daughter is vomiting, nauseous, and shaking. She has no fever. She recently had what appeared to be a bout of food poisoning with repeated vomiting and diarrhea, with no fever. That was about 3-4 weeks ago. I m concerned with the repeated incidence, although more mild this time. Thoughts on what she may have?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The repeat incidence may indicate a repeat infection of the gastrointestinal tract or may indicate that she has gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

Reflux is mainly treated by lifestyle changes and medications. Lifestyle changes involve mainly: (1) reducing meal size
(2)avoid spicy/acidic foods

I hope this helps
