Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Chronic Sinus Infections

I have been getting chronic sinus infections for over a year and a half. Also two sinus surgeries due to nasal polyps. Have been doing allergy shots for so many allergies for over 3 1/2 years. Could the shots be doing more harm than good. I started off 6 years ago this coming August with severe hives just now everything else. Take an antihistime every day for about 5 years now. Nothing ever seems to get better for me. Do you have any answers for me. Thank you! Diane,

Hi
With a past history of removed nasal polyps, i think the cause of your problem is linked to the structure of your nasal passage and maybe another polyp is disrupting the normal drainage of sinuses.I do not think your allergy shots or your anti histamine are not good.I advice you visit your doctor again for imaging tests like X-ray, CT scan or MRI to eliminate any obstruction or better still ask him if a visit to an ENT specialist is necessary.Treating the underlying cause and avoiding things that make your symptoms worse will be the best. However, a course of antibiotics, steroids and nasal decongestants may be exploited.
Best regards
