Suggest Treatment For Recurrent UTI Inspite Of Using Doxcyline

dear doctor, ihave been prone to urinary tract infections and pelvic inflamatory diseases for over 6months now,a week ago iwas given doxcyline ,levoflaxacin and fefol.ihave finished the dosage but iam not feeling any better the pain in my left lower stomach is just increasing.help doctor how can i end these drug episodes and get healed totally?

Hello, these conditions that happens to you could be urinary tract infection (UTI). But Pain in left lower abdomen can be cause by another problem such as stone in ureter ( tract between kidney and bladder) or bowel problem like diverticulitis.

I suggest you to repeat urinalysis test to make sure that you still get UTI or not. The ultrasound can be performed to diagnose stone in ureter.
