Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 2 yr. old has a honeycomb pattern on legs and torso. It is not a rash of sorts. It looks like if you took a watercolor paint brush and painted a honeycomb pattern. This is a fairly cold day after days of warm summerlike weather and it looks like he may be reacting to 40 degree temps??? He has been in heated house for over an hour and has not complained about anything bothering him. Just looks strange.
Understanding your concern. As per your query your son have symptoms of rashes on the skin which could be due to hormonal disturbances and allergic reaction of body. It could be due to increased skin susceptibility of body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit dermatologist once and get it examined. You should go for patch test for allergic reaction. Start treatment after proper examination and diagnosis. Avoid touching or pricking skin with any sharp object. You should take diet rich in multivitamins. Till then apply topical steroid e.g fluticasone propionate cream, twice daily at affected sites for 7- 10 days. Avoid intake of oily and fast food. You should not touch and prick them. Drink plenty of water.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
