Suggest Treatment For Rashes On The Chest

I have a rash on my chest it is sore when touched I touch it. It is on my right side. I also have a small rash in the middle of my back. I have had it for 2 weeks two weekends in a row I vomited up just water in the moring last week end. This saturday saturday I had a nose bleed slight while boating and swiming. I Got home ate some dinner then immediatly vomited it all up with a slight nose bleed. I did go the the Urgent care on Sat morning and she said she thought it was shingles no test where done and she said it was too late for any treatment, so how do I know for sure what it is. I am a type diabete, My spleen was removed 3 years ago due to a blood clot.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having shingles.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for pain.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral acyclovir taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
