Yes, my sister has been suffering with back pain that has a dark rash on her back that has spread to her lower back area as well. She has suffered with constant itching, tenderness and pain for 4 months. She hasn t gotten any relief with the pain bills and the doctors haven t given her a diagnosis of her condition.
The continuous itching on back with thining and darkness of skin may be Neuro dermatitis. Kindly consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.
I would suggest...
- antihistaminics - oral steroid in tapering doses - apply mild steroid cream - anxiolytic like fluoxetine 10 mg daily - avoid contact with soap, wool clothes,spray,deodorant..etc - keep the mind cool..relax and have positive attitude
I hope this might help you.
Thanks.
