Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

The continuous itching on back with thining and darkness of skin may be Neuro dermatitis. Kindly consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.

I would suggest...

- antihistaminics
- oral steroid in tapering doses
- apply mild steroid cream
- anxiolytic like fluoxetine 10 mg daily
- avoid contact with soap,wool clothes,spray,deodorant..etc
- keep the mind cool..relax and have positive attitude

I hope this might help you.

Thanks.
