Suggest Treatment For Rashes On Neck And Scalp

My wife is 54 years old and has a rash on the back of her neck and on her scalp. Two weeks ago her ears were swollen and hot to the touch. She was seen by a Dr. That gave her a steroid tablet to reduce the inflammation. She hasn t been sleeping because of the constant itching. She was given an iv with steroids at the emergency room and it seemed to help. Her blood sugar is elevated and we we t back to the Dr yesterday where they gave her hydrocortisone cream but it hasn t helped with the itching. She hasn t gotten any relief any ideas?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the diabetes and not treated since it is being detected in my opinion better to rule out the possibility of diabetes till then avoid taking steroid medicine but long acting antihistamine can be taken and best would be "Tab Levocetirizine 10 mg" three times in day hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
