Suggest Treatment For Rashes In Buttocks

I ve had a rash for a year on inside right butt cheek. It would coke and go.and now its worse. Red, itchy, burning and flakey dry. Looks awful and itches constantly. I ve been given three different creams and had a rest done and its not a fungus. Dr also put me on two different meds against my judgment..not taking them as of now. Its getting worse and I feel its on my finger now too.

Hi

The area that you have mentioned is very prone to fungal infections. But since you have been repeatedly treated for fungal infections and do not suspect the same ,you should go ahead and get yourself investigated .
A simple test which is koh test can help in ruling out fungal infections, and if needed a skin biopsy can be done from the affected area to look for other causes like eczema.
So you can see your dermatologist and discuss the above options .
