Suggest Treatment For Rash On Arm After Having Blood Drawn
My daughter had blood drawn at the end of August and developed a rash on the crease of her arm within a day. Her pediatrician insists that it is eczema and we have treated it as such. She never had eczema before this and within a day of discontinuing treatment the rash returns.
1. Appearance of rash after withdrawal of blood could be normal extravasation of blood from veins under the skin (ecchymosis) and if it is appearing time and again visit a Dermatologist for an expert opinion.
2. Make sure not to go for any over the counter remedies, only apply vitamin E oil and consult.
