Suggest Treatment For Radiating Pain And Soreness In The Leg

Hello, I feel directly onto my knees last Thursday. As of Sunday, I started having pain in my right buttock and right thigh that radiates all the way to the feet. My skin on the same leg is also very sensitive to touch and cold.My leg feels tingly and weak and it s uncomfortable to stand, sit, or lay down. I m not sure what to do.Thank you for our help.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

From symptoms that you describe it looks like you are having a disc compression in the lumbar region of your back.
It might have happened due to the fall that you had.

I would advise the following :

1. Start with Xray of your lower spine to look for any narrowing between the verterbrae
2. If Xray is inconclusive and the pain persists then please go for an MRI spine

I would like to add it can be muscular aswell after the fall, but muscular pain usually does not radiate.

I hope it helps.
Wishing you an early recovery dear.

Regards.
