General & Family Physician 's  Response
welcome to hcm,
These symptoms of insomnia or sleeplessness, anxiety, racing heart are side effects of methyl prednesolone or mydrol.
first you have to stop the medication and consult your treating physician .
if i were your treating physician i will generally consider giving some proton pump inhibitors for your esophagitis and stop mydrol and will advice you to avoid spicy meals , quit alcohol and smoking and timely meals.
hope this explains in detail
