Diabetic patient with pus wounds on the toe. How to heal? age 51. -- 5' & 7" 55. weight. found with diabetes for over 12 years. was on insulin, stpped due to immense pain was on tablets. back on insulin as the wounds are opening time & again . takes alchol time & again.

The best treatment for foot infection is control of blood sugars. Its very good that insulin has be restarted. Insulin helps in wound healing as well. The pus can be sent for culture and sensitivity and based on the reports appropriate antibiotics can be started. Targets for Fasting is Wishing you a speedy recovery
