General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello thank you for writing us here.
Chronic ballano prosthitis takes weeks to months to get treated. The medications are for 5 days and when there is little improvement, you'll need to take Ciplox 500 and Zerodol SP for about 14 days and then if still the symptoms persists, then for 21 days depending on the severity of the infection. The treatment is going right so you don't have to be worried.
God bless you

Best regards,
Dr Gunjan
