Suggest Treatment For Purple Discoloration Of Nail And Numb Toe Post Injury

So I was wearing some uncomfortable shoes/ the same day fell down the stairs. I didn't seriously injure myself as far as I know. Well the top of my right big toe is slightly numb and under my toe nail on the right side of the nail is purple/blue. Is this serious or did I just pinch a nerve?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
You have purple/blue discoloration over your right big toe after injury and tight shoe, it may be due to subcutaneous blood collection due to Injury and continuous pressure by your tight shoe. So it is my suggestion for you that it will be automatically absorb with lapse of time about two weeks and is not at all serious or harmful, if you feel pain than you can take some analgesic tabs sos(when you required) also you can do hot and cold fomentation of the part of Injury.
Hope you had your answer of your equerry and worry , good luck and take care .
