Suggest Treatment For Pulmonary Tuberculosis

i have just been diagnosed for PTB i had the symptoms of PTB since more than a month and i had sex with my wife during those days is she at risk of getting infected i still have not started medication can i have sex with my wife?is my six year old daughter prone to the infection from me? if yes what kind of care should i take?

You should definately start AKT as soon as possibly. And AKT will needed for atleast 6 months. So earlier you take, earlier you cure. And yees you can definitely infect your family members by not taking drugs. See pulmonary TB is infectious disease spread by aerosol route by coughing sneezing etc. So you daughter and wife can easily be infected. Follow these steps.
1. Start treatment as soon as possible according to weight.
2. Start using mask all the time so that your coughing and sneezing don't spread infection.
3.also give mask to your daughter and wife when you are with them.
4. Start prophylaxis for your daughter tab INH after consulting pediatrician.
5. Avoid coughing in public places.
6. Dont spitt your sputum anywhere.collect it in closed container and discard it in the sand.
It will take minimum 20-30 days after treatment to make you non infections. So consult pulmonologist and start treatment as soon as possible.
