Hello dear Understand your concern Following are the cause of prolonged menstrual bleeding: Endometrial dysplasia and cancer (most common) Adenomyosis, PCOS, bleeding disorder and cervical cancer/dysplasia. I advice to consult the gynecologist and go for following investigations: USG scan, Endometrial biopsy, PAP smear, reproductive hormone analysis, BT, CT, APTT. Gynecologist prescribed following medicine and advice: Tablet tranexaemic acid or vitamin K to reduce bleeding. Provera shot, or long acting progesterone preparation/iud. Take iron supplements and heamatinics. Take high protein diet and fresh fruit. If still not responds to above advise, endometrial ablation should be advisable. Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
