Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a mild/moderate prolapse of the uterus and bladder. It seems to be getting worse, as I have to push organs back in after exercising. My doctor recommends a full hysterectomy and repair of the walls of the bladder. I am wondering if this is not a drastic approach. Why can t I get the uterus taken out and since it will not be there to stop pushing on the bladder, see what happens after that?
Brief answer Hysterectomy with vault repair is treatment of choice for you
Detailed answer
It's not that drastic surgery what you are thinking off its a very common procedure these days with very minimal chances of intra operative and post operative complications to be performed by a skilled surgeon It's a definitive solution of your day to day trouble. Hope this helps you wish you good health Regards
