Suggest Treatment For Post Coital Bleeding

Hi, I have post coital bleeding and cauterization was done 2 months ago after results of Pap smear came out normal. Is this normal? Do I have cause to worry ? Do I seek second opinion (another Pap smear and cervix checked again)? I don t look forward to having inter course with my spouse because of the bleeding.

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Post coital bleeding can be due to cervical cancer or cervical erosion.
If the pap smear is negative, then cauterization is appropriate management.
Cervical erosion heals on its own over the time and will lead to resolution of post coital bleeding
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
