Suggest Treatment For Pityriasis Rosea On Back And Between Breasts

I have had pitysiasis rosea on my back and between my breasts for two years now. It has never gone away and it does not itch but looks awful. When it is hot or I go in the sun the color deepens. The doctors where i live have no idea what to do. just said it should go away on its own. help please, i m really embarrased.

My Dear

Welcome to Healthcaremagic!
I have reviewed your details.

I have had several patients who thought that they had Pit Rosea. According to its description and clinical picture, Sacha rash that mimics P Rosea may turn out to be something else on investigation. One of the possibilities is that it could be Pit versiciolor which can be confirmed a by skin scraping while another possibility could be scaly rash of Secondary syphilis, which again is identifiable without much difficulty.

I would suggest that you please get these two tests done and revert to Healthcaremagic with the reports so that you can be normal once again.

Best wishes.
