Suggest Treatment For Pink Eye And Small Bumps On Ears
My son was diagnosed with pink eye yesterday and have been giving him the eye drops as prescribed. This afternoon at about 4:00 he had a fever of 101.6. He was complaining of throat pain. His ears are covered with small bumps and have been peeling on and off for the past couple of days. These symptoms by themselves do not worry me. However, all together I am a little concerned. Should I be?
Pink eye is because of acute infection of conjunctiva. Bumps around the ears show enlarged lymph nodes and sore throat indicates associated upper respiratory tract infection. The treatment is by use of antibiotic eye drops to treat eye infection. Along with this treatment of respiratory tract infection is necessary by use of oral antibiotics and antiinflammatory drugs.
