Suggest Treatment For Pinched Nerve On Leg After Knee Surgery

I have a friend who had multiple knee surgeries over the past few months. She had a nerve block during her first surgery and she is still not having any sensation. Will that ever go away and her get the feeling back? Or is there a way to reverse the nerve block?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The sensation should improve unless the nerve was completely severed which is not likely in this procedure.
This is one type of nerve injury ,the most severe but in many cases it may simply sustain minor injury.

It can take several months for sensation for return.

She should consider speaking to her doctor.

I hope this helps
