Suggest Treatment For Piles During Pregnancy

I am 36 weeks pregnant have developed piles. ..not normal ones...see be painful ones..that are purple and black in colour and have developed white sore spots on them which are causing me a great amount of pain I can barely walk they are increasing by size

Piles or hemorrhoids are common complications seen in pregnancy.

They can be very painful.

You may want to try the following to see if there is any relief from your symptoms: (1) sitz baths with warm (not hot) water with table salt or epsom salt for 15 to 20 minutes, 2 to 3 times daily

(2)applying topical pain relief creams and topical steroid creams as well. These would reduce pain and inflammation.
Should be available at your local pharmacy

(3)paracetamol to help with pain relief- this is safe in pregnancy

(4)avoiding straining with bowel movements- use high fiber diet

(5)dab not wipe after a bowel movement to avoid aggravating the area

If there is no relief then you should consider visiting your doctor for assessment and treatment
