Suggest Treatment For Persistent Syphillis
Hi I was diagnois with syphillis , had the three shots, then went bk to hve it tested again nd its doubled, didnt even know i had this, they say tht it must of bn dormat n my body,.. my question is what is the outcome of this reacurring?what stepd will I hve to take?

First of all the VDRL titre would take not less than a year or more to become normal following treatment especially in a case of Late Syphilis. If you repeat the test within 3 months you would like to come across such results and nothing to worry and repeat the test after another 3 months and see whether the titre is coming down or not. If not even after 6 months following treatment, then you can try with some other short acting Penicillins recommended by your physician daily as it was recommended for 3 weeks would cure you completely.
All VDRL reactive individuals are not necessarily would go for manifestations. Many a time it remains without any manifestation even in the absence of adequate treatment.
