Suggest Treatment For Persistent Heel Pain

I have had debilitating heel pain for over a year. I have seen 3 different doctors and had a variety of treatments for plantar fasciitis including custom orthotics, night splint, stretching, and a total of 4 cortizone injections. The last Dr I went diagnosed me with havign an entrapped nerve in my foot (mainly because I have not responded to any treatments for plantar Fascititis. AN MRI revealed mild inflammation of the Plantar Fascia but nothing significant. He gave me my last injection which relieved the pain for abour 5 weeks. He also recommended physical therapy which I started following the injection. The physical therapist seems to think my heel pain is actually happening because of a bulging L5 disc in my back. Could this be possible???

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Bulging disc also can give pain on foot. But you will have back pain also. A nerve conduction study and MRI will be helpful to rule out this. Neurotropic drugs and physiotherapy will be helpful in such case.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
