Good morning, For the past 3 weeks or so I have suffers from diarrhoea (type 6 stalls from the Bristol stall chart) My movements are constant , between 3 and 7 times per day and on the odd occasion I suffer from slight pain and discomfort This is not normal for me but I do not know what is causing this. Shall I continue taking over the counter emodium or see a doctor ?

Don't take Imodium without antibiotic because it prevents diarrhoea and allows the infective organism to multiply in the bowel. Get Your stool tested. Eat healthy. Keep well hydrated with Water and ORS. Consult your Doctor immediately.
