Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cough
My son is 20 and a non-smoker. Complaining of persistent cough with some phlegm and this has been going on for 6 months. The Chest Xray says Prominent hila vasculature is noted and all else is normal. Blood reports are also normal, so is the Whole abdomen ultrasound. Hb is 17.2 - a little out of range. What does this mean?

Your child having cough since six month
Digital chest x ray sometime can show prominent vascular marking, it could be normal or suggestive toward bronchitis or lung parenchyma affection
Sputum cytology examination can be done here as further work up along with CBC...
Auscultation Also needs to be done
If your eosinophils are high than Allegra LC like anti-allergic drug might prescribed
For cough Ambroxol syrup also can be prescribed
If neutrophils are high than proper antibiotic prescribed

Consul pulmonologoist for examination and further work up
