Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cough

I had bronchitis at the end of January. I have been coughing ever since and it is getting worse. I can t take in a deep breath without coughing and then I end of making a growling sound cause the air can t seem to get back to the lungs after I cough. I had a cat scan and it shows I have some enlarged lymph nodes between my lungs. I have had 2 chest xrays which are normal and my lungs are clear. I can t stand all the coughing. My doctor took me off all medications. I do have A-fib not due to a heart valve problem. My feet and ankles are also swollen.
