Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cough

yes sir, 9 am feeling great. got out of patrol car, started coughing bad, passed out hit my head and did $700 damage to patrol car. Went to ER, put me in hospital. blood pressure is 149/108. they cant find anything wrong. now they want to put me in quarantine or isolation. have had a cough for two weeks that sometime feels like I will pass out but nothing until today. no signs of a cold or sinus or fever ec. Do you have any answers? Thanks

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Persistant cough if accompanied by sputum, sputum examination needs to be done for microbiological examination to look for infection.
If there is no sputum, then probably it is dry cough.
cough suppresants have to be started to suppress the cough.
Examination of the chest has to be done by X-ray chest and/ or CT scan of the chest.
You need to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and thus treatment.
At the same time, you are having high blood pressure.
You need to consult your physician for raised blood pressure and thus management.
