Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cough

i have a persisitant cough which gets violent at times and I bring up my food this happens periodically. The cough started in April and seems to calm down a little then get worse then clam a little then get worse, sometimes I have a sore troat in the morning like a lump on one site of the troat which is pain full when swollowing which develops into a cold. I started ramipril in March, I ve had antibiotis but it didn t help, chest xray, blood test and all are fine. I m trying the astma pump but its not helping either, I ve seen two GP s and I m not sure what to do. The cough is annoying to say the least and I m feeling tired. can you help

O dear, you need to stop Ramipril immediately!
Change over to any other anti-hypertensive like an ARB (LOSARTAN, TELMISARTAN, OLMISARTAN or IRBESARTAN).

It is very likely that your cough should improve within a couples of day and you definitely won't need antibiotics and inhalers.
