Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cough Due To Bronchitis

I HAVE BEEN COUGHING FOR FOR THE LAST 7 DAYS DUE TO BRONCHITIS. I AM TAKNG AZITHROMYCIN. AND THE 5 DAY PERIOD FOR TAKING THE MEDIINE WILL BE ENDING TOMORROW. I M SURE I HAVE COUGHED SO MUCH I HAVE IRRITATED MY THROUGH EVEN MORE. EVERY TIME IT SEEMS TO GET BETTER THE COUGHING URCH INCREASES AGAIN AND IT IS NON STOP COUGHING. I HAVE HARDLY BEEN ABLE TO SLEEP MORE THEN 1 HR A NIGHT. MY THROAT CONTINUES TO BE INFLAMED AND PAINFUL TO SWALLOW. HOW CAN I STOP THE NON STOP COUGHING ATTACKS?

Start an inhaler like seroflo/advair twice daily along with a codeine syrup at bedtime.
What you have is a post viral cough that sometimes can be really irritating as well as resistant to medicines.
Stop azitheomycin after 5 days
