Understanding your concern. As per your query your child have symptoms of persistent cold which is mainly because of lowered immunity of child leading to increased susceptibility of getting infected.
Need not to worry about it. Visit pediatrician once and get it examined. If it is bacterial infection start with proper course of antibiotics. Give warm water sips every few hourly and give plenty of fluids to child. I would suggest you to give child to give multivitamins tablets and diet rich in fruits and vegetables. You should give child steam inhalation and apply mist humidifiers in room. Give child proper rest without any discomfort.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
