Suggest Treatment For Pelvic Pain And Stomach Cramps Post A Hysteroscopy

I had a hysteroscopy for suspected polyp in my uterus that caused me severe pain in my pelvis and spotting the hysteroscopy revealed no polyps in sight and a d&c was done with a biopsy obtained still haven’t gotten the results. Meanwhile I was prescribed Primolut 5mg twice daily for 21 days for three cycles I still have some much pain in the pelvis in addition to cramps 10 days later “after the procedure” and now I’m bleeding I had been spotting but this has turned into bleeding. Is my 7th day taking the prescribed meds I’m worried because this is suppose to stop irregular bleeding additionally this pain just won’t stop. Can you please tell me what’s going on?

Hi there, I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

First of all do not panic.

Some amount of spotting or bleeding is expected for 5 to 7 days after hysteroscopy.
If you have increased bleeding or pain , please seek advice from your treating doctor.

Please seek prescription support from your treating doctor for a broad spectrum antibiotic like Doxycycline 2 times a day for 5 to 7 days, tablets containing Tranexamic acid and Mefenamic acid 3 times a day till bleeding stops.
You might need to step up the dose of primolut N tablets three times a day for 5 days and then step down to 2 times a day for 15 days.
Wait for withdrawal bleeding.
After next cycle, and in view of your D and C report, treatment for the next cycle can be started.

I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks
