Suggest Treatment For Panic Attacks With Chills And Tremors
My sister -law is having panic attack with abdominal pain. She is taking alprazolam o.2mg and sertraline for anxiety and it is not helping her and also hydrocodone/acetamnophen . With the panic attacks she has headaches, chills and shakes. The medicine is not doing any good. What should she do

The first thing is to check whether she is receiving adequate dose. The effective dose of sertraline is 50-200 mg per day and in case she is receiving lower dosage it is advisable to increase the dose.
The same thing applies to alprazolam as effective dose ranges from 0.5 to 2.0 mg per day.
Meet your doctor to check whther she is receiving the required dose.
In case she is receiving same than it is advisable to use any other SSRI and benzodiazepines for her treatment.
I like to remind you that whatever chjange [planned it should be ddone in proper guidance of your doctor.
Advise her to take some meditation and toga classes along with medications for better control of her symptoms. She should be advised to take at least 150 minutes exercise program per week.
