I have anxiety and sleep paralyses... I take lexapro 10mg and Xanax 0.5 only when I m Having a panic attack. I woke up for the third time not Knowing my name, where I was and my body did not feel like mine. I am scared. I have no insurance and I do Not know what to do. I m 27 and not knowing What is going on is really scary. Please help

You are suffering from anxiety and are on Escitalopram 10 mg for anxiety and the drug is a good drug for anxiety. You are also on Alprazolam 0.5 mg on SOS basis for panic attacks. You also have developed symptoms of sudden sleep with amnesia of that episode. It could be due to some sleep disorder especially narcolepsy. In narcolepsy sudden onset sleep attacks occurs and episodes of sleep paralysis are seen. To make proper diagnosis you should consult a psychiatrist for help. Polysomnography is a technique can help to make proper diagnosis of any sleep abnormality. Controlled napping in day time can help to come out of these symptoms and you will feel better. Please consult your doctor for treatment.
