Suggest Treatment For Palpitation With Family History Of Heart Problems

my heart beat has increased. im only 22yrs old. my family has history of heart problems. but i have never had any. i layed down about 2:30am. i woke up around 5:46am because my heart was beating fast and hard and my mind is racing. i got online and started looking up home remedies. most of the stuff i read only scared me more. do you have any idea what this might be caused by, or what i can do/take at home to fix it? i ate two tbs of honey. never heard of that

Sudden onset and offset of rapid heart rates can be of paroxysmal atrial or ventricular tachycardia.I suggest you to have a base line ECG with 24 hr Holter monitoring and an 2D screening echo for ruling out ant coexistent organic heart lesions.drugs like Beta blockers can control your heart rates.Radiofrequency ablation can provide permanent cure.Consult your cardiologist for further help,
