Diabetologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Mucosal injury could be causing blood in urine. This injury could be causing painful urination.
2. Small kidney stones, when they pass through urinary tract can damage the mucosa causing blood in urine.
3. The pain should disappear within 15 days as the mucosa heal. Repeat urine microscopy to check for secondary infection, if pain and blood in urine persists after 10 days.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
