Suggest Treatment For Painful Tailbone Restricting Movement

I have had trouble sitting in one position because my tailbone hurts so bad...it is sore and aches until i move pressure off .....I fell over a year ago and landed right on the tip of my coccyx bone but it did not bother me that much..now it has slowly began to bother me whenever I sit down...I have a feeliing this is more serious than a tailbone injury... Thank you
