Suggest Treatment For Painful Legs In A Flu Patient
My mother is 81 years old she has had a (flu) Dr. gave her tama flu cough med. She has been in the bed for 3 days She was able to walk to the bathroom but now she can t even stand up her legs tremble an she can t get her feet or legs to move she tries and but has to sit down should I take her to the hospital or call an ambulance to come get her? I just don t know what is going on she says she does not hurt anywhere.

I really appreciate your concern, this could be due to general weakness her age and the viral infection may be the cause of this, care need to be taken for diet, hygiene, hydration, to rule out the possibility of central nerves system disease, better to get done the clinical examination and may need some tests, hope this information helps, take care, have a nice day.
