Suggest Treatment For Painful Knot On Shin Bone

I fell in the shower and banged my shin hard it has a big knot on it but a big soft knot came up on my right side of the foot, did not kit it but it causes pain all the way up the leg when it is touched. It is soft where the knot on the shin is hard what could this be and is it a concern.

I have studied your case and I think you are having collection of blood in subcuataneous tissue. This looks like a knot. It is going to resolve by its own. If you found that it is not decreasing in four to five days than i would recommend you to apply hot water fomentation. You also need to take oral antibiotics after discussing with your doctor. Also apply a compression bandage. This will prevent any infection and also cause swelling to resolve faster.
Some time a needle aspiration is needed.
