Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Wrist

I had pain on my left wrist by my thumb and went to occupational therapist to put a hard ling brace which was customized in my arm. It was up to my elbow and wears it all the time for 5 weeks now. It minimized the pain though I still feeling the pain on the side of my wrist and kindda thick/hard in touch, painful in some moves. How can it be healed quicker?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and thanks you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein and I will try to help you as much as I can with my answer.

If there were no injuries to wrist then some arhritis or rheumathoids disorderss should be considered so you need to do MRI of the wrist and see what is going on. Then some antiinflamamtory medicines can be prescribed. Also, you should rest in orhosis, avoid weight lifting and have physical therapy such as ultrasound or hydrotherapy.

I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
