Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Navel Area

I frequent the gym and I ve had it before where my belly button because sensitive and it hurt to even move and especially touching it. There wlis minor swelling on the inside of it and very little redness. My dad just tells me I over lifted or what not but this is the second time its happend. What could it be? I ve researched hernias and it seems like it could be it but there isn t a huge lump. Just very tiny on the upper inside of my belly button. After a few days of the pain getting worse it usually goes away. So again, what may this be?

Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

This kind of lump or swelling over the upper abdomen could be cystic swelling or may be epigastric hernia but I can not say exactly without doing inspection and palpation.

To diagnose this swelling,we need to examine it on the examination table.

After the examination, the doctor may advice you to undergo ultrasound of the swelling to confirm it what the swelling.

In my advice you should see surgeon if you have pain over there and the surgeon will examine it and accordingly advice you further whether to go for operation or not.

Regards,
