Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Knee And Ankles

hi 3 months ago i broke my knee cap tibia and ankle i wasnt hurting as bad so the last couple weeks i have been trying to walk etc. now i am in quite a bit of pain it is hard for me to get up and move around it is swollen behind my knee and hurts what can i do?

Welcome to HCM.I understand your concern.
Knee &ankle hoints are weight bearing joint.... their fractures take more time for complete healing & normal activities .From that point of view healing would take at least 6 months for recovery.
You had tried walking with the weak joints &caused a stress .. inflammation of the parts.
*The way out is...
take rest till the pain subsides/hot or cold packs,anti inflammatory pills over the counter would help..if not consult the treating orthopedic doctor.
Start taking calcium &vitamin D supplements for strong bones, Physiithrapy would help in smooth regaing the joint functions
Use support like stick,walker to start walking &slowly regain the normal walking .
