Suggest Treatment For Pain In Right Testis Due To Infection

hi...i am 24 now....at the age of 14 my left testis swelled and became larger.eventually after three years i lost my testis ..Doctors say its due to torsion.that was my left testis.last month i consulted doctor did colour doppler and different test since i was having mild pain in my right testis also ...doctor said i had infection so i should drink lot of water.he also said i need to do the operation for the future benefit of my remaining right testis.Should i do operation and how the operation procedure is ....is it major or minor..amd what can be the cost....plz reply

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
Noted the loss of left testis due to torsion, that might have been missed or not treated or you must have reported late.
The right testis can have mild pain due to compensatory hypertrophy.
If infection is suspected, have a long course of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines till you are completely healed.
Have a proper watch.
Since you are 24, get semen analysis done to know the status and if near normal go for your biological children at the earliest.
