Suggest Treatment For Pain In Left Heel

I have been having pain in my left heel for a little over a week. It usually happens when I bend down and forget to bend my knee. Within the past few days, it has changed to a flapping feeling on the inside of my heel. I thought that my flip flop was falling apart, but now I know that is not the problem. What should I do?

1. Tenderness on undersurface can be Plantar fascitis, the common cause of heel pain.

2. Check with a Ortjopedic Surgeon for examination, till then:
. Foment 2 times/day with hot water in tub
. Apply any Rubefacient or NSAID ointment
. A good painkiller (diclofenac) with Analgesic.
. Low dose steroid in acute stage with antacid.

3. If there is no relief:
. X-ray heel (lateral view)
. L.H.C. injection into plantar fascial insertion.
. If no relief, plantar fasciotomy.
