Suggest Treatment For Pain In Heel Post Injury

I stepped on the head of a nail a week ago, and every time I step on my heel in the right way (that was where I had originally stepped on the nail) I get this sharp, searing burning feeling right where I stepped on. Is this a bone contusion, did I mess up any ligaments, what happened? Thank you for giving me an audience; it s EXTREMELY appreciated

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
After going through your query I concluded that you are having planter fasciitis. It's treatment is hot fomentation two times a day as it is common affection of the heel. analgesic such as ibuprofen are of use as these relieve pain and swelling. Vitamin B and C are helpful in recovery. Soft healed shoes are useful. You can discuss with your doctor about it. Hope I have answered your query. If you have any clarification please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you a good health. Take care.
