Suggest Treatment For Pain Below Ribs When Suffering From Liver Tumor
My father is suffering from liver tumor.and in these days he is suffering from severe pain in liver ,even during breathing,...please tel me which medicine could gave to him for pain relief....Now for the pain relief he is taking codogesic medicine...But its not give relief from pain,....he is feeling pain on the right side of the body below the ribs...And this pain goes to the right arm from below the ribs of right side....please help me...Am really obliged to you...

Hi. Sorry to hear abt your father. Opioid analgesics are the best in this scenario when used with medications to control neuropathic pain. So a combination of tramadol 50 mg 6th hrly with pregabalin 75 mg twice daily will be good. If he needs a step up of meds the next choice will be morphine itself with pregabalin.
