Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling On Knee After Injury

I was in a car accident 2 weeks ago my knee went into the dash under the steering collom. The right side of my knee was instantly bruised and swollen along w small abrasions on it. Went to the hospital and alls they said was I had contugents on my body. Now when I try to jog or move quickly my knee feels like its going backward or inward and immediately starts to give way. Its swollen in the middle and hurts wo even moving it. About 10 years ago I was in a car accident and had the air bag deploy on my knee and I had torn my meniscus. Didnt have to do surgery just knee brace and lots of therapy. What do you think it could be the same as before? Anything helps as I work in a residential care facility and am on my feet for 8 hours at a time.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, knee joint is very fragile one and highly vulnerable to injury and meniscus is the matter of concern because it damages very easily, so better to get done the test to rule out this, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
